Meet Our Team

As President of Canadian Acceleration and Business Incubation (CABI), Gail is responsible for CABI’s national Accreditation Program for all incubators/accelerators in Canada as well as the CABI SUV (Start Up Visa) Program. While managing the day-to-day operations of CABI, Gail works with other national organizations in Canada to help grow their international profile in the incubation / acceleration industry.

Marcus Daniels is the Co-founder/CEO of HIGHLINE (www.HIGHLINE.vc) and a seed capital investor that helps new ventures win in global markets. www.about.me/marcusdaniels

VP Of Incubation, Programs and operations for the Toronto Business Development Centre. Peter works with partners in the City of Toronto to support new and emerging start-ups along with educational entrepreneurial programs.

Moscoula Mallis has 25 years of experience within the business incubation industry coupled with a true understanding of entrepreneurs, their challenges and requirements. She is a senior administrator with Innovacorp, based in Halifax - Nova Scotia’s early stage venture capital organization, specializing in life sciences, clean technology and information technology.

Since 2007 Gary has been the President and CEO of The Eureka Project – a technology incubator in Winnipeg, where he has supported the launch and growth of over fifty companies. In 2014 Gary formed the Catchfire group of companies that combine seed investment and professional management in technology companies.

Michelle is Manager of Incubation Services at the Genesis Centre, Memorial University’s technology business incubator. She has been working in the field of business incubation for 13 years. Michelle is also the St. John’s Hub Lead for the Canadian Digital Media Network.

Chris is a patent agent in Gowlings’ Ottawa office, practicing in Intellectual Property. He prepares and prosecutes patent applications in all areas of the life sciences and chemical fields, especially those involving biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, bioprocessing, and medical devices. He is a registered Patent Agent in both Canada and the United States.

Jenni Salonga works at Edmonton Economic Development Corporation, a city-owned organization that manages the 86-acre Edmonton Research Park which is home to 55 companies and 1,500 workers. Jenni is responsible for managing the operations and marketing of three business incubators namely the Advanced Technology Centre, Research Centre One and Biotechnology Business Development Centre.

As Vice President of the Toronto Business Development Centre, Michael has contributed to the ongoing growth and success of the Centre’s award-winning business incubation and acceleration programs. An entrepreneur himself, Michael started his own small business in 1990 as one of TBDC’s initial clients. As a member of CABI’s Board, he enjoys the interaction with and the support of incubation and acceleration programs throughout Canada.

Senior Director with Innovation PEI, Brad is responsible for Launch Pad PEI and has successfully led a team of business development professionals responsible for the growth of strategic sectors in the Province of Prince Edward Island, Canada. Responsible for business investment attraction and internal company growth in the sectors of aerospace, bioscience, information technology, and renewable energy.

Robert Gibson is director of Agricalue Processing Business Incubator (APBI). APBI is a multi-tenant facility providing the infrastructure and services to support and enhance the establishment and growth of new companies and new business ventures in Alberta.
