President Announced

Toronto Ontario (October 22, 2014): The Canadian Association of Business Incubation (CABI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Gail Gillian-Bain as President and Chief Operating Officer. Over the past ten years Gail has held many management positions in the Business Incubation Industry, most currently as a Vice President of the Toronto Business Development Centre.

CABI is please to Gail succeeds Tim Ellis who resigned as President to become President and CEO of a Waterloo Investment Company. Tim remains a member of CABI’s Board and Chair of CABI’s Advisory Board coordinating CABI’s first annual CABI/Waterloo Region Symposium for Incubation and Acceleration Professionals next March in Waterloo, Ontario. Gail will be focusing her efforts on CABI’s national accreditation program, incubation/acceleration industry relations, CABI’s Food Sector membership and CABI’s growing incubation/acceleration consulting practice.
