CABI's Accreditation Workshop

Recognizing the importance for credibility of Business Incubation/Acceleration Programs within Canada to those wishing to utilize the services of an incubator/accelerator, be it a client or a government department, commencing in 2014 the Canadian Association of Business Incubation (CABI) will be offering an accreditation program to members who meet a basic set of industry standards established and recognized by the international business incubation community.

The CABI Accreditation Program will be available to all Canadian business incubators and accelerators who are members in good standing of the Canadian Association of Business Incubation. This half-day workshop will give participants a detailed overview of the upcoming accreditation program including the application process and the accreditation requirements.

This workshop will be delivered by two experienced industry experts. Tracy Kitts, former President and CEO of the National Business Incubation Association (NBIA), the world’s largest association of business incubation professionals and Tim Ellis, President and CEO of Waterloo Ontario’s Accelerator Centre, an award-winning centre for the cultivation of technology entrepreneurship.
