Innovacorp Wins International Awards
Innovacorp has won two of the highest international honours for its work in helping new businesses. Stephen Hartlen, Innovacorp's interim president and CEO, accepted the National Business Incubation Association's awards for achievement in the business incubation industry on May 18, at the association's annual international conference in Orlando, Florida.
Innovacorp was the receipient of the Dinah Adkins Incubator of the Year Award in the technology category. This award honours exemplary incubation programs evaluated on the range and relevance of business development services offered to clients, program results, financial stability and success stories with a focus on the strength of interactions between the incubator and its client companies.
In addition, Innovacorp was named the Randall M. Whaley Incubator of the Year. This award is NBIA's most prestigious award recognizing overall excellence in business incubation. The winner of this award "is best in class," says Dinah Atkins, NBIA President Emerita. " All winners are model programs worthy of emulation.""
In 2009, Innovacorp earned recognition for its programs as winner of CABI's Business Incubator of Year Award in the technogy category.
